TL;DR: unique looking cafe with plenty of space, great coffee and many sockets. Internet is good, but not so fast
Do you ever get the feeling that the cafes in Berlin are all similar? Flea market furnitures, coffee-nerd drinks… bad Internet – Sounds familiar? Distinguishing between them feels like describing the difference between two medium-sized potatoes. But then there’s Hallesches Haus, which is definitely something else. I mean, they sell cacti there. Cacti! That’s maybe a trend in Arrakis, but in Berlin? it definitely stands out.
Hallesches Haus is a combination between a cafe and a florist shop. I kid you not. It consists of a huge hall, with two big long tables (laptops are allowed only on one of these), and a numerous number of extra smaller tables. The coffee is excellent, there are many sockets available and the music is great. If only the Internet would be faster it would be a perfect place to work.
